Only if they want to score from their phone (recommended). But the trip organizer can score for the whole group from one device. Invitees can also view live standings on the web via the share link — no account, no install.
02Is there a free tier?+
Yes — the app is free for trip organizers and invitees. We charge zero per trip, per round, or per skin. No paywall on any format.
03How does scoring work across multiple formats?+
Set up two formats per round and they score independently. Skins carry automatically, match play tracks holes won, and the leaderboard updates live after each hole.
04What about handicaps?+
Add an index per player on setup. The app applies handicap strokes based on the course rating and slope. Skins, match, and stableford all respect handicaps if enabled.
05Can we play multiple formats at once?+
Yes. Stack two per round — e.g. skins for the overall game and individual stableford for the round winner. Each scores independently.
06What happens if cell service dies?+
Score offline. The app syncs the round when you reconnect. Live standings refresh once everyone's back in service.
